I am really bad at empathy, so I turn to my family and friends. Darla's cat, Jake, has developed a distended stomach likely caused by some form of cancer.Darla had it into the vet the other day and it cost me $375 to have a "cat" scan and x-rays. Darla has been struggling with the news and is determined to keep the cat through the Christmas holiday. The cat, who has always been FAT, has developed a stomach that looks like he's swallowed a football. Again, Darla needs some comfort and consoling over her cat, so help me out. (I just want to go play catch with it in the front yard.)
